Fer real.
I was indulging my favorite girly vice and reading celeb trash while getting my nails done, and there she was in vivid yellow, on the sharp end, flexed and flashing her profile from a cling on a steep arete...the "after" pick for how you feel when you take Claritin.
The before was another helmetted gal in drab tones, clearly not fixing to pose for a magazine, staring off into the distance (not whistfully), belaying in a dish on a slabbier looking rock with a big lap coil over her lower body that was shot from an unfortunate angle...directly up the Mythos.

Damn, girl, you really outta bust out some moves and write us something "for real." That's the tone, right there. You bottled it, so now pour it onto a narrative and let us have it right between the eyes.

“Introducing Claritin 12-hour, the only 12-hour allergy medicine that relieves your worst symptoms without making you drowsy.
Loratadine is an antihistamine drug used to treat allergies, and marketed for its non-sedating properties. It is marketed by Schering-Plough and Shionogi in Japan under several trade names such as Claritin, Claritin-D, Claritine, Clarityn, Clarityne or Fristamin depending on the market; by Cadila as Lorfast; by Lek as Lomilan or Flonidan; by Sandoz as Symphoral; by Ranbaxy as Roletra; by Pliva as Rinolan; by Teva as AllergyX; by Wyeth as Alavert; and by Pharma International as Tidilor. It is also available as a generic. In a version marketed as Claritin-D or Clarinase, loratadine is combined with pseudoephedrine, a decongestant; this makes it somewhat useful for colds as well as allergies, but adds potential side-effects of insomnia, nervousness, and anxiety.”
End of Excerpt
The drug induces nervousness and anxiety.
How about that?
Also Claritin is being investigated for false claims.

Time Magazine, Sept 23, first page or so
Might as well have two juggernauts sueing my judgement proof ass, though, as I make no money from this perhaps they owe me a kick back?
Largo, Melissa's work can be found through the Taco and the net. She's just as articulate in the real world.

why would they when one's sleeve is a perfectly good snotrag?
Actually I'm a huge fan. But when I take it I take 2 or 3 at a time. In order for loratidine get OTC status, they had to release it at a subclinical dose. Don't ask me to cite the source of this info.
Only claritin D causes (me) to get jittery... D=psuedoephedrine aka meth cooking ingredient.

Cool to see an ad featuring a climber actually climbing.
Most climber ads are nothing more than someone hanging from a rope.

Is that really me in a magazine?
I just heard about it this morning on Facebook and had to come here to check it out. I'm glad I'm the "after" girl and not the "before" girl! Must have been the bright yellow tank top :)
What issue is this? I want to keep a copy for the family/bragging rights! People magazine!
I chink I'm blushing!

Hey Kuan,
It is also on the inside cover of the September 21 issue of Time. Better to be 'after.' Was this a planned shot or something they used from file photos?

I would've assumed (apparently incorrectly) that you would'vebeen privy to this beforehand and paid as well.
Congrats regardless though! Clearly its a lack of antihistamines that are to be blamed for holding back my climbing progress!
