hey there all... say, i saw this late last night, into my printer adventure... *a friend, had told me, first, so i went to check it out...

it so far, apprears he had a seiuzre and hit his head on the tub, after entering the bathroom area...

i was just waiting for more updates, so i did not put up any info that was not correct, etc, ... but, this does seem to be the case, as, his son did have a history of seizures... the news notes said it was due to a childhood illness... (yep, there are some illnesses that make folks get seizures, also)...

folks do not understand how very hard it is to live with these... any instant can turn an innocent venture, even just WALKING, into a life-or-death issue: all depending on where or how one falls... and if the head is hit, or vein, cut from glass... or, if one is sleeping and chokes on fluids... or---if one is swimming and not supervised...

hope you all can remember a few prayers today, for this very sad daddy amd mommy... the boy was ONLY 16 years old and never got to enjoy manhood, or reaching any goals or dreams....

and learn more about seizures, perhaps you may one day be nearby someone, and able to help...

god bless and condolenses to this family and their loved ones that loved and lived with this young boy... :(

It is very sad and scary how easily a life can end, seems so preventable.

It was the Dad that killed him, not letting him take his anti seizure medication. Got to love Scientology.

hey there jaybro... say, i saw that someone somewhere had also mentioned that that was a possibility (news stuff) (me, i don't know of any mentioned specifically, only the family knows facts from rumors, or any etcs...)...

but---i do know that as to seizures and medication, even when folks/kids are on medications there is NEVER a quarentee that seizures will not come AND there is no trust that one medication will always work---sometimes one has to find a new medication even after one has been successful ... it is a very tricky matter... and wrecks havic on many lifes, due to sick affects/effects...

some are successful and some cases are not... (meaning with medications)...

some folks, too, (not due to scientology or religion) just get so sick from getting sick of the medicines that decide to stop---a sometimes very dangerous thing to do... though some have had success (and, as with medicines, one must be weaned off gradualy)...

well, it is a private family matter, that the public is now watching...

it is all very sad...
seizures are a very tricky and it can near take someones whole life's goal to try to find the right medications, as there are so many different kinds of seizures, and so many reasons for why they take place:

and---unknown reasons that are never found, as well...

well... god bless to all and may more open doors of success come to others with seizures... sadly, this family's battle is over for their son...

Neebee, I hadn't heard this news til reading it here. Very sad, indeed.

Thank you for sharing and raising awareness about seizures and their potential to change lives in so many ways. Someone very close to me has walked this road--thankfully it was only a lifelong dream(her EMS career) that was lost while finding the right mix of meds and not her life, as in the Travolta's case--my heart goes out to the Travolta's and to anyone struggling with this.

hey there sherri, say, thanks for shareing... i will hope and pray that your friend's life will be double-successful in whatever ways she is working towards, now...

and that she will have success and hopefully seizures will be a thing of the past...

far too many stories are such:
lost careers--once seizures come into ones life...
rocky home life, and marraiges...
even abandonment, by friends...
and besides lost careers--lost jobs
and lost freedom to drive...

for the most-part, usually one can live a full life in the midst of the battles that seizures through one into... and even still have the joys that life offers... (though there are those that must fight back too hard, and becoming far too weary, as every case is different)...

BUT behind the daily facing of the fact that a seizure could strike, there is the not-often-talked-about, hidden thoughts or wonder of:
the "one time event" that could take a "daily hero" down, IF a seizure should hit when one is alone...

with friends and family CONTINUALLY nearby, here's hoping and praying that there are less lives lost and more victories gained...

*say, also, juan.. i dont get youtube too well, but i will see what your link was...

(sorry guys, back to the rock climbling stuff... but you never know, this may just help inform folks 'right up your rock' someday, for a friend or neighbor, or loved one...)
