So pulling out of my several-years layoff from climbing has been a slow and fitful process. But my buddy Dan and I are heading to the Meadows on Monday (we could leave today if the lucky bastard didn't have tickets to tomorrow's Radiohead show) and come back on Friday. Hit list includes Cathedral/Eichorn, Z Tree, Golfer's Route, and whatever else we can get on. STOKED. Haven't been up there in years and it's one of my favorite places on earth.
Gonna try to squeeze into the TM campground but we don't have reservations so eh. Where's the closest BLM land east of the park entrance? A buddy and I stayed there a long time ago but damned if I can remember exactly where.

Try Sawmill ....a walk in camp ground across from Ellery Lake @ 5-6 miles from the Mobile Station...ON the right hand side of the road and then @ 2 miles in.
