I would certainly take a look at it. Depending on the internal construction and the way the load-bearing joints were lockable, this could be a minor miracle for helmets.
Cool design, too.

That's dumb as sh!t.
Helmets hard to pack or carry???
Good grief, you might think the climbing could be hard too.
Here's a little tip:
IF you can't figure out how to clip your helmet to the outside of your pack, or you want to put it inside, put it in upside down and fill it up with stuff.
DUH.

Looks good to me. I don't think Edelrid makes junk.
But then again I don't need no more helmets. I've got one for every sport I'm involved in. A whole book shelf full of them. Stupid. I know.
Petzl Meteor - ultralight rock climbing
Grivel Salamander - ice climbing with face mask
Old Old Joe Brown helmet - heavy as a motorcycle helmet. ha
Road bike helmet
kite surf helmet
kayaking helmet
rollerblading helmet
and there's probably more stuffed somewhere in the closet. ha
oh yea, then there's the plain old "hardhat" for construction work.

Brilliant Design!
'Not that I have any of the 'problems' with helmets as stated in the description...
It's UIAA approved, what else is there to contemplate if one needs one and likes this model.
BTW, plastic helmets don't have a long life expectancy with hard (avid) use...
