here ya go toots
didn't believe those of us with real live brains between our ears when we said the fauxnews network was just a marketing branch of the GOP?
frankly, when 16 different people are all saying the exact same thing, it's painfully obvious, but perhaps now when the press secretary openly admits that the white house message machine is directly in control of the news...
nah, of course you'll have some silly, irrational, logic defying objection- otherwise up would be down and black would be white!

It's important to understand that journalism has been severely compromised in this country.
thanks Matt, (even though your bedside manner could be more helpful to the "swing voters")
The current administration has shamelessly planted propaganda, lies, and paid journalists to parrot lies, and otherwise intentionally mislead the American people.
IF they leave office quietly, we need a truth and reconciliation commission to list what really went on the past 8 years and to restore the integrity of science, information and intelligence for this nation
Peace

Bill Moyer and McNeal have both had Republicans on lately who talked about the uncomfortable excesses of the current administration.
A growing segment of the right is appalled by the insanity of their own.
But of course you can still find a boatload of idiots who think the Bush/Cheney war criminals did right.
A good sounding book (investigative reporting) on the torture situation is The Dark Side, J Mayer. A book on political problems in Washington caused lagely the need for a ton of money to stay in office is Fritz Holling's Making Government Work.

Karl, now one fear is that Bush will extend blanket pardons to those involved in his evil doings.
This admin is scared, has been since a supreme court ruling in 2006. This is according to interviews with insiders who were at high level meetings where the situation was discussed.
IF you can watch Bill Moyers for this week, the Meyer woman will shock you with her revelations. Her book is The Dark SIde, all about her investigative reporting on the whole torture deal-- how it came about, how they tri3ed to justify it and how it was kept secret for a while.
One thing she revealed is That OUR side actually used torture guidelines developed by Korea and Red China during the Korean war. So we have become like our enemies, thanks to GWB.

sure pal, shoot the messenger
and take ZERO personal responsibility (supposedly a hallmark of you self-proclaimed so-called conservatives?) for your miniscule part in supporting and perpetuating these illegal and immoral actors who have had the reins for 7+ years.
what are you gonna do, vote for mccain?
go right ahead.
he, along w/ the guy that smeared his family to become president, and you, can all go out with yesterdays garbage, good riddance! your moment has passed...

GASP!
Someone sent a memo!
Now JFK,
HE KNEW! how to keep the press in line!
Hire a dozen of Washingtons finest hookers, throw a party in the Whitehouse basement pool for the press, cooly have one of your aides sugest later that the wifey might find out what really went on at the Whitehouse if you don't stay in line.
Nixon filled in the pool.
