hey,
Gotta big rack.... haven't climbed in 3 years.... reluctant to sell, but need cash to invest in startup venture... I'll think about it. Drop me an email and I could possibly be convinced. However, if there are any encouragers out there, feel free to STOP ME FROM SELLING MY RACK!!!

you name it, I'm selling. Hate to part with anything, but heroin is a harsh mistress.

Seriously, I'll hook you up: nuts, cams, hexes -- the works.

By beginner trad rack do you mean the kind you fill up with hexes, forged friends and tricams, only to later abandon for the convenience of camalots?

Call 760 274-5409 Ask for Ray Harding. He used to climb, but now rides Harleys and works on bikes;....I saw him about 2 weeks ago...he is selling all his climbing stuff.......He lives in Joshua Tree or Yucca Valley...he's a good guy too. I believe he has some cams, passive gear, biners, QD's......trad stuff......Anyone interested....give himi a call.

Why climb when you can wizz down the highway on one of these....

There comes a day when you haven't climbed at all in over a year, and you start to think, "maybe I'm just not a climber anymore." That day came for me this spring, so I'd like to sell my rack for a reasonable price to someone who will love it and take it cool places. It bums me out that it's just sitting in my basement.

Fifteen or twenty cams, various vintages and brands.
Nuts (mostly BD, and a bunch of small HB offsets)
Lotsa slings and biners (locking and not).
Quickdraws
Mammut 8.1 x 60m ropes (lightly used, but 4 years old)
Sterling 10 x 60m rope (ditto)
Helmets (ecrin roc, one red and one white).
ATC Guide, gri-gri, jumars (petzl), aiders, daisies, petzl mini-traxion, fifi, tons of small offset nuts
Shoes (two pair anasazi velcros, both lightly used, US sizes 8 and 8.5; one pair boreal aces, size 8.5)
Other random stuff (prusiks, hexes, chalkbags, harnesses).

Drop me a pm or an email (gavin[dot]boyles[at]gmail[dot]com) if there's something you're interested in, or if you want photos, etc. I haven't thought much about prices; mostly looking to find the stuff a good home with someone who loves to climb. I'm in central VT, but happy to ship.

Edit: the above taken from NEClimbs website, just posted 5.11.08. Hope this helps both of you. Dale

Yeah, the price of gas is seriously putting the kabash on my wanting to get back into climbing...it used to be cheap dammit! I may have to sell soon, glad to see I'm not alone in this dept.

Hey, yes, it's getting so expensive, and crowded, so I was thinking,

"When climbing gets cheap, the cheap will go climbing".

T shirts and bumper stickers.
