Message from Rick Shilts' wife on the Red Rocks bolt replacement thread.

I am Rick Shilts wife and I wanted you all that knew him to know he fell 40 ft on the job site in Ontario March 03 08. He died 3 hours later of internal bleeding and we are still in a tremendous amount of shock. His children loved him so much. Although I didn't know him, I deeply commiserate and pray for that
your grief may be assuaged. May he rest in peace.

hey there dear kaaren.. and family... i am so very sad for your loss....
a man, he was, working hard, being silver, not the dross...
each day that goes by...
hurts with many a cry...
but hold on to that one tiny treasure...
it was YOU that got to meet, love and enjoy him, without measure...
your paths came together, for the riches that you had...
all lives, at one point, pass in death, and it is very sad...
but never will you lose the deep rich part of you both, that was true...
forever, this will live on, in all that you do...
may your days mend, yet in such a way...
that his life love-and-deeds still touch your kids, and you, in some kind of far reaching, firm, inner display...
once, again.. i am very sad for such a loss... god bless...
