'86 World Series was epic ... hands down the best WS I've ever seen.

GC seemed pretty cool on a really ragged, freewheeling Mets team: Doctor K, Straw, Nails, Keith Hernandez, the fat pitcher named Sid (can't remember the rest of his name)

and then you had Boggs, a youthful, presumably pre-roids Clemens, OIL CAN, Buckner, Rice, D-Evans ...

Wow. Game 7 was apocalyptic.
