Wherein Jaybro has a sad.

"The board of Saab Automobile subsequently decided that the company, without further funding, will be insolvent and that filing bankruptcy is in the best interests of its creditors"

Kinda sad to see the quirky nameplate go, although I've never owned one.

Saab made some great cars. The 9000 Turbo comes to mind. A friend had one. Handled like a dream, good acceleration, all around awesome car.

Sorry to see them go.

This is an easier choice than learning to speak Chinese. It already was one of the fastest depreciating cars, I'd expect that to accelerate so I suggest all you Saab owners brace for it.

We'll see if it takes, this time.
Meanwhile I'll spend the next decade running the Green Dragon into the ground.

And watching what the rest of you are up to, in my rearview mirror.
