Sometimes I like to read verbose TRs, sometimes I like to just look at the pictures. And there seems to be a correspondence in my personal shifts of preference with my level of inebriation, which at the current moment is well off, so, photos it is.
On the hike in from Bud Creek.
The peak we all know and love so well...
Shooting the sh#t. California Alpine Start, 11 am.
Approaching the objective.
Discussing start options and three-person simul-climbing tactics.
View to the South from start of first pitch.
Screwing off and having fun.
Walking the line.
Some small technical sections.
Fun Stuff.
My version of heaven.
The North Summit.
Going down the North side of the North Summit.
Another perspective of the above.
Waiting around.
Hiking out.

Yeah, I hadn't climbed it in 9 years or so. Still rad.
