Fish ladders or smart aiders?
I think that having an intelligent helper around would be much preferable to throwing oneself at a wet, ergonomically-inappropriate ladder with a bunch of water-dwellers...
but I am funny like that, so don't take my word for it.

But they get lighter the further away you get from the center of the earth. They're perfect for K2.
