My boyfriend, Greg Sonagere, Steve & Heather Snyder are in Puerto Natales, Chile. I have not heard anything from them. Has anyone heard from them if they are okay, or if the town of Puerto Natales was uneffected? Please let me know if you have heard anything. Thank you. Darla

Chile is a very long and skinny country. The earth quake was very very very far away from Peuto Natales.

Spoke with Rolo this morning - he's in Chalten and they didn't feel it there, so certainly Steve & Heather wouldn't have further south. Rolo said the weather was good, so lots of climbers in the mountains - could have been bad if it had shaken that far south.

Hey Sailcraft, That was Darla's one and only post on this forum. It is unlikely that she will see your request. A better method to contact her is to click on her name and her profile will come up. In that section is a tab to email her. She is more likely to see an email then your post on this thread, as this thread is old and it doesn't appear that she has been back to this forum.
