Off the radar but still living in the mountains above 8K Some of you old dad's may remember him. I skied yesterday with him. Never got to climb with him BITD so I made it a point to ski with him. Always been a fan of the band "the Mutants" I was in Colorado from CA with a friend on Business so we hooked up.

Last gig with the whole band in the summer of 09, the Deyoung Museum

That's incredible, he's a cool guy, shared some good times with him mid eightys, send him a hello, stoked to see he's living the good life and getting in some mountain air.

About a hundred years ago, he and his band "The Mutants stayed with us up at Yosemite West, we were "Baby Point Five" D. Reid, M.Chapman, E. Barry, Tracy ?, and myself J. Whitford, we were rockin the house back then, to a bunch of gyrating climbers.
Also visited them at Mutant head quarters in S.F., saw their show, my brother caught their reunion show and said it was great!
Wow. a blast from the past. Thanks for posting that, great images of Peter M. and Fritz, looking cool. I wish them well!

"It was a twisted thing, and she wrote it on the mirror, it was a twisted thing, that's the way love is my dear." One of my favorite Mutant songs back then.

The Mutants opened for my band DNA @ Mabuhay Gardens in SF circa 78'. Saw Fritz in the Meadows some years later and shared a laugh about trashing the dressing room after the show.... good times!!
