Amazing! Is that Darkstar, and why did you choose to sleep on the route, just curious! Good send

I wish it were Dark Star... It was an adventure... and our first trip to the area. We basically ended up taking longer than expected, had some route finding excitements, and learned the lessons taught by the sierras! It was on Veneusian Blind. Great experience and a great stepping stone toward more alpine endeavors.

Nice job, good stuff.
I bet you're glad you brought the bivy gear! Good job being properly prepared.

Very glad... we brought the bivy gear with plans to bivy between Temple and Gayley (or Gayley and Sill) and climb Sill the next day. Did not happen this trip but still a thought.
