Saw this a few days ago and didn't go for it. Just saw it and ended up buying it. Cant wait for it to get here!

this is a rope that has been having sheath and durability issues, FYI, or I would buy one.
but its a good deal for a 70!

I have had one of these for a few years. Mine hasn't core shot yet but it is REALLY stiff and kink prone to the point of being a pain to work with (even compared to other skinny ropes) and I passed up picking up another one when they were on clearance on rei awhile back.

I just bought a metolius 9.2 to replace it for alpine stuff.

just received mine last week. Havnt unpacked it yet. Hopefully no "durability issues".....thanks for the heads up.

at $152.97 thats too much. I just got the identical rope about a month ago from REI for $94, abotu what a Petzl rope product is worth. As a FYI, ClimbMax will sell a great 10.3 x 60 Edelweiss for under a $100. Screaming deal. They're awesome folks too.
