Here is a vid for Shack.... the particular ledge in the movie is a special order econo, so don't be asking me about the specs etc. You will need Quicktime7 to view this (I think)

Muss-krat love....

Muskrat, Muskrat, candle light
Doin' the town and doin' it right in the evenin'
It's pretty pleasin'
Muskrat Suzie, Muskrat Sam
Do the jitterbug at a Muskrat Land
And they shimmy, Sam is so skinny

And they whirl and they twirl and they tango
Singin' and jinglin' a jangle
Float like the heavens above
Looks like Muskrat Love

Nibblin' on bacon
Chewin' on cheese
Sam says to Suzie
Honey, would you please be my Mrs
Suzie says, yes, with her kisses
Now, he's ticklin' her fancy
Rubbin' her toes
Muzzle to muzzle
Now anything goes as they wriggle
Sue starts to giggle

And they whirled and they twirled and they tango
Singin' and jinglin' a jangle
Floatin' like the heavens above
Looks like muskrat love

That's what over 15,000 songs in iTunes brings to a long work day.

THANK YOU Russ!
Dang you made it look so easy! What was that...about the millionth time you've done that!
Awesome!

I guess I deserved "the look".

BTW: Because of the high quality of the video, The Fish Products Marketing Department is projecting a 27.4% increase in customer satisfaction and predicts a sharp increase in first quarter sales!

Wow, a professional portaledge wrapper packer complete with "the look".

I never did know how to pack those things right. I just shoved the damn thing in the bag any ole way.

Susan, I think if I were digging through the Willis Alan Ramsey rabbit hole on iTunes the more appropriate tuneage for a product used by Valley boys might be the Ramsey/Waylon Jennings approbation "Satin Sheets" - Russ, you do still make FISH satin bivy bag liners for your ledges don't you...?

Wish I was a millionaire
I'd play rock music and grow long hair
I tell you boys I'd drive a new Rolls Royce
Pretty women hangin' on me
I'd give 'em all the third degree
Satin sheets to keep 'em off of the streets.
Hallelujah, hear me talkin' to ya
Praise the Lord and pass the tambourine
Great Jehova, you'll come over
As soon as ya see me boogie woogie cross the silver screen.

Hang 'em high and hang 'em low
Put 'em in the eyes wherever I go
Keep 'em all night feelin' just right
Hallelujah, hear me talkin' to ya
Praise the Lord and pass the tambourine
Great Jehova, you'll come over
As soon as ya see me boogie woogie cross the silver screen...

Ya just don't hear enough of the Captain and Tenille these days. I'd have had the look after listening to that too. Never could figure out even back then how in the heck that song got airplay.

I suspect Willis wondereds the same thing. Odd how such a gifted songwriter singer / songwriter's biggest hit would be that odd duck. That and thirty years between albums...

I thought the video was hilarious, "and yes I learned something too."
Now that is what I call teaching with style.

There was some talk a few years back that he would do another - did that ever happen? There's lots of bootleg stuff around where he's playing with the West Texas crowd. IMHO "Spider John" is the human experience distilled into a few words ("Old and bent and devil spent and running out of time") (Buffett left out a verse) Goodbye to Old Missoula talks to me as well (" I met a girl named Rosie...". Nice to see that I'm not alone in my appreciation of this artist.

PS next time you get a buzz try to rap Muskrat Love - should be entertaining.
