hey there all... say, i know, i try to be a good gal and keep the "awareness commercials" in their proper months... but say all:
SOME BOOKS HAVE SOLD! and i did not need to go "beg" someone to buy them... (awww, my shameful but sweet nudges, don't always work, so i just give them away free, when i can)... well:
1--happily so, TWO are the kids books, CATCH ME IF I FALL:
the little black and white kid-cowboy that rides a stick-horse all through HARLIGEN texas, WHILE his dad watches him from a distance, in case the boy has a seizure (thus allowing him his self-esteem to be a brave ol' cowkid and not feel 'trapped')
it is done in poem, and shows real photos of HARLINGEN and also the child how the father feels, when a seizure hits, too, so the child will understand that folks aren't trying to be mean, if they have limited a child's pastimes...
2--also, the JAKE SMITH RANCH SERIES has sold, too!
[JAKE (i'm thinkin'...)],
oh, my... TWO were the pocket books ,really neat books, but i warned folks that the priting is TINY (sure hope the customer will not be mad)
3--one that sold was the texas sequel (JAKE HUGS TEXAS)---hope the folks are good readers and can still feel the power of the story...
4--the very last book of the series, 40 years later, (JAKE'S RANCH AND THE SECOND GATE)sold---a book about how friends part, when old age comes, and how death means something differet to each one, and how it affects everyone, and how new life comes from it, as the old-ends are tied up
THESE ARE SEIZURE AWARENESS and HEAD INJURY awareness books!
overcoming a hard trail, due to: strong relationships, love for those in around us, and daring to perservere, as--the goal of real frienship in spite of injury, is a prize...
*ALSO:
YEP--seems i had to do it ONE more time---i gleaned through to fine tune the edit--as--i used left over holiday money to PAY for the ISBN for JAKE:
as soon as i upload the same file, but with type-o that i still found, fixed, it WILL be available at AMAZON.COM
perhaps 6? months, though...

*now, i have earned 38.00 for the food bank... technically, i could keep 8 bucks, as i set myself a limit--but i want it all to go to the food bank, being that DO have food...

*one last note, say---if you all would buy a book in MARCH... AFTER you read it, you could even donate it to a library, or a doctors waiting room office, or assisted living home, or whatever.. or a school...

"INTRODUCING..." has sold, too.. three of them!!! :)
it is the short stories based on the novel series..
good for kids, if you read and explain, as you go along (it does have a kid, in it, too)
oh, i am so very happy about this... :)

Neebee, I apologize ! I should have seen this thread and congratulated you much earlier. Don't know how I missed it. Glad I had time tonight to catch up on the Taco.

hey there lynne and survival, say, thanks so very much... it sure means a lot, as i have no way to promote it, and thus, no sales...
and thus, no way to share how a good buddy system and love and friendship, can help over come things lilke:
injury trauma... head injury, seizues, or any etc...
*plus, folks are not awares of how many folks in the world, can't talk---and in this day and age, people use TALK as POWER... AND as power and prestige over others, if:
others can not do it as well, as the "norm"
*say, now i do not have to feel bad for doing a "shameless bump"... and i got one more post, in before march-awarenss month.. :)

hey there... survival.. say, this is perfect time... being that i had to order a test copy for the amazon site, as i bought the isbn number, for 99 bucks of my christmas money...
i had to approve the book, and i always find small edits to still fix... so i instead of gleaning, read very much slower, this time (since i am out of work due to bad nerve hurt, from work, in my leg)---well, after i ORDERed it, seems i decided in the middle of the night that two ADD ON sentences were just not quite the "perfect word phrase" that i wanted...
oh MAN! ... i had to order another one, JUST in case, if i had somehow messed up the book, when i "fixed" it (course, i am sure i did NOT, but once i approve it, there is no re-fixes with the isbn) (i can fix the lulu copies, all i want-though i never change the story)...
SO-- i have a book and a too low pocket book now, and could really use the money (this time for me, and not the food bank, as i paid out of my own pocket) so i THANK you most kindly...
*I WILL warn you---the book has some good reviews and i will post a link in a sec...
but:
it will start off a little slow, as it is like a stream, carrying quality "elements" that must be there for the "full river" and for the rest of the novels, and the short stories...
and--for folks to understand tongue-loss and head injury, so they will perhaps be more compassionate to those that suffer from all this...
ONCE you get past chapter three, you are free swimming...
(there is still good work there, or i would not have done it that way)

hey there say, survival, i will put a nice little tiny note on front, and THEN:
autograph the BACK PAGE... as from my sad experience, i KEEP ruining every book i autograph...
(about 12 gift books that i have given out)
practincing is just great, but then, i touch the books and all kindergarden breaks LOOSE!
