Well i have to admit that i am a little pissed off right now. I FINALLY spoke to the HR guy in Yosemite for employment with DNC, and after a whole month of waiting for a response and several phone calls i find out that i did not meet the requirements. WTF! I did not know that when i was filling out the application it was actually my interview. I did it corretly filled out the right info and included my rez, but in the end i did not meet the requirments.
I work a crappy job as it is right now. Man, do i hate that place! All about the money there. They do not care about the customer and when you call the customer they yell at you for working with company and doing your job. Who wants to go to work feeling stressed and getting yelled at?
A few months ago things in my life got really hectic and lets just say got really stressed out, and if it wasn't for climbing i would still be very sad, so, I decided to lower my stress a bit and go part-time and pick up my hobby of climbing. luckly, out here in Florida there is gym to keep me sane. Anyway, I decided that i would like to venture back to CA and spend the summer in the Valley (what better way to live, right? Make a very small amount of money and climb on your free time all while living in one of the most beautiful places on earth.)so i make the call today to see if i can make my goal work and some guy tells me i did not meet the requirements. why? i asked. i cant go into detail, he says. KOOK!
Well if there is anyone who works for the DNC in Yosemite and can hook a brother up with some info i would appreciate it.
Honestly, i dont even know if im down with the DNC being in Yosemite, i just really want to spend the summer climbing out there. i have put my fare share of time into my Mecca and have been going since i was a child. I should have been on El Cap a long time ago!
As the great John Muir said " The Mountains are calling, and I must go." i am going to listen and get my ass out there anyone with advice and knowledge it will be greatly appreciated.

My advice; medical experiments.

Spend 30 days as a guinea pig, walk away with 3 grand and crash in your car for a couple of months, no worries about work. Maybe a new facial tic, but hey, you'll be climbing.

Guinea Pig? not my style! But 3 g's and crashing in my ride spending the summer climbing and meeting some cool people sounds pretty good right about now.
