The Gorge should be fine. Forecast looks good. Backcountry anywhere north of Mammoth might be hinky cause of snow today. I was checking out the webcams late this afternoon, June Lake and Lee Vining looked like they got a decent coating of snow today. It'll probably melt off but Saturday would be a bust. And last weekend's storm coated ridges about 12,000 ft on up.

Next week the eastern Sierra is supposed to get high's in the 80's so whatever snow is around will definitely go fast.

oh sh#t, I just saw this (now 12:40am). I totally would go. I need to get back in there. At this point, I'm beer'd up but good and not liking the price of gas solo driving, and the girl offered to go to Pinns so I don't mope about on Sunday. hahaha. thx for the invite tho. take a raincheck? or reciprocity for some SPH time.

photo trip report will of course be needed when you get back.
