Sometimes in this crazy world it's nice to boogie to some uplifting music. That's all.

I love reggae, soul, funk, hip hop, electronic....
But I cant stand Michael Franti...his music is too cliche for my taste and it sounds like he tries too hard to cater to the hippy image
Artists that i like with similar lyrics to Franti are: Kaan Nal,Blvd, People Under the Stairs, and edIT

I've been a fan since his Disposable Heroes days. His words & music always delivers that fun pick me up, reality checks or just that all important booty shakin moment. His live shows are just plain fun.
His activism and support of causes that are also dear to me, are another big thumbs up.
Try too hard? I say, keep it up!

I couldn't make the show on Saturday in Flag cause I had to drive my baby mama to the airport. I'm still sad :-(
