Help please if anyone knows.. we helped rescue a climber named Al several years ago after a bad fall on White Maiden's walkway in tahquitz, he broke his ankle, we ran into him today (back climbing for the first time since) we were supposed to meet for drinks as a thank you from him... but got caught up in another rescue of a older climber who broke an ankle, we had to evacuate down the trail (it took about 3 hrs)
we went to the restaurant, and missed him by 10 minutes.
he lives in Rancho Bernardo, has a construction company, his name is Al, if anyone knows him, please let him know we didn't bail on him.
Thanks tamberly

Tamberly,
I am not old; I am "seasoned". Again, thank you.

Compared to Fred Beckey;...Woody is a youngster............let's get this "old" label into proper prospective here..........(Good thing it wasn't your hip, Woody........that's all I have to say....) That Wendall is trouble too;...you guys always get into trouble together......it's like giving teenages booze, weapons, motorcycles, or fireworks;.....always ends in trouble.......

hey there guys... say, awwww, she was trying to be sweet---she did say oldER... not old... whewwwwwwwww, now you can relax, woody.... older, will equal "seasoned"----like how wine that is OLDER is better... (not old)... :)
hope you see it clearer now... older-er = good.... old = well, you already know...

You're right neebee; it was "older", sort of like 9+ as a rating. I'm mollified. I look in the mirror and see a dashing, dignified fellow at the height of his powers.

Oh and by the way, I hope when I'm "older" like that.. I'll still have the balls to lead climb a 5.9 climb!

hey there... see, there you go, woody! :) no matter how we look at it, you just can't get FINE wine unless it is "older" ... can't get fine-fruit-of-living-and-learning a "well-seasoned-trail, unlessssssss:
one is older and wiser, and well-trail-seasoned.. :)
seems we just got what it takes, as it has stood the test of time...
*just leaving you a note of good cheer, and this thought:
even the "younger generation" breaks stuff all the time, seems they fall down a lot too----we're only human, as the saying goes... no matter what age we are... god bless you, as you recover, and may you find some good memories out of all this...
