My first wall and first attempt at a video. I got the idea from the Mescalito solo video TR. It turned out alright, but I figured out lots of things I needed to add, film, take pics of for my next attempt. Anyway, figured somebody out there would get a kick out of it. cheers!

Sweet!! Nice push thru the night. I cringed when you cut the bag loose. Is that what blew the tuna? Good thing it wasn't your water, especially in summer. Thanks for posting!!

Cool TR. That whiskey bottle was up there last Sunday - but then I guess that stuff doesn't go bad...
Nice push!

Wow, nice suffering and TR! :) Congrats on your first wall.
Your report makes me think I'm glad we bailed last October.

rwedgee - cutting the bag loose didn't blow the tuna. The bag actually hit pretty lightly. I wasn't really worried about it busting anything. The tuna was just leftovers from the night before, so the pack was already open. The hot sun did it in, then using the bag as a makeshift buttbag all night crushed it all over the place.
Note for future ascents: ziplock bags for trash!

Nice job, way to push through! I was sure glad for some clouds when I did it last month (but not the hail on p5). Hauling from Ahwanee to the top of 6 (plus a 30 ft lower out/tether line) avoided any haul bag hits for me.
Now you've got the suffering down, it only gets better and more comfortable from here! Looking forward to more cool TRs.
