Tomorrow night, if you wish to party, join a very cool climbing gathering, join or support the best climbing club on the planet, have a free meal, camp and climb in a beautiful secluded area, meet local bad-ass legends, hear the world famous legendary Cactus Pricks, or see what happens when Wild Turkey and climbers mix;.......it's tomorrow night at Bluff Mesa Campground, outside of Big Bear in the San Bernardino Mountains.....look on a map, google it, contact Tan Slacks, or Check in Brad Singer's San Bernardino Climbing guide for directions........I'll be there with my son to camp and party......I go every year....it's awesome fun....and I fully support this excellent group of climbers and friends.

cactus pricks rule! say hi to Don and Al...

when i was 16 and just got my driver license, i wnet to the vaelly to climb for a week..
My parents werea a little gripped about climbing back then (1980)so they paid for me to take a course @ the mt. School.
Don Reid was my teacher and those 2 days of climbing with Don changed my life forever.
I knew after that trip was over that i would not go to college, but instead would go to the valley after HS in 1982!
Thanks Don!

RULES! Have a great weekend.......and be warned;....you will get a call in a few weeks to go to Idyllwild to climb.....so keep on eating your wheaties and doing your sets of 100 set-ups and push-ups.....

I went to the Holcomb valley last year after a family reunion in Big Bear. The place was a blast. We didn't have a guide book so we just climbed the aesthetic lines, and there were many.
Sounds like a fun party!

I'm sorry I missed the Cactus Pricks latest show. I want to live at the entrance to JT again someday.
