yep, that was rick. just talked to him on the phone a few hours ago. he was the first guy to ski base jump. it was off el cap. and if you go to the diving board at the dawn wall you can still see the rocks he used to level out the ground to make the ramp... i think.

and i think the third person to base jump off el cap (and on ski's)

I think its amazing despite protests from the crew that Roger Moore decided to do his own stunts.

I gotta get me one of those shooting ski poles!

My favorite line from the movie is when the guy gets mowed over by the snowblower complet with a shower of red snow and Bond says, "That guy had a lot of guts!"
