Ha ha! I wrote that ten years ago now, some twenty years after the fact, thirty plus years ago now, and parts of it I remember clearer than this morning! I still have that trek road bike, the people in the van ( it's name was Maurice, a 78 or so vw) were frank , the colonel Sanders andMike, Freddy Friedrichs, they were fixing on the zodiac. I can hear walt's voice as I write. What a day!
