Way off topic, but figured some people here might be interested. My girlfriend and I want to take an AIARE 1 avalanche course at kirkwood, but the dates aren't that convenient (or are full). We are trying to get six other people together to make a custom weekend class. Basically shooting for the weekend of the 16th or 23rd of February. It's a 3 day class. Anyone interested??

And for the record we will probably all die

After passing your Level 1 you will become far more likely to die in an avalanche. Sucks how that works.

They didn't say anything after I finished level 2....
