My wife Liz arranged for her friend Don to fly me around the Great One on my 45th birthday and I found this video, taken from the back seat of a private plane. Legal flying is above 10,000'. It's a gas!

Mouse, legal is staying 2000' above the highest point within 2000' laterally.
Of course, everything being relative, that reg is worthless when a flight
of F-18's leaves Lemoore to go to China Lk and flies over Sequoia. They
might be well above the legal minimums but they're still horrendously loud.
Last time we did the High Sierra trail they must have had a big to-do over
China Lk cause they were roaring over Sequoia every half hour or so.
Not a wilderness experience.

Hah! I've been playing Jedi Mind Tricks all night and didn't know it? Sorry, try again. Viewing it over, theis ought to be called half Dome 320, it's not quite a complete circle. Don took us around twice, AND in the opposite direction so I could see it from my side.
