Any recommendations? Last time we didn't like the airport deals. We found a good small place near the Stratosphere but can't remember its name.

If you are a Costco member check out their website....they have sweet deals.

I just scored a rental deal in LA for 95/week...Total.

Does he come in compact, Cosmic?

Thanks, dugillian. But will they add on to that when you get there? It was unnecessary insurance that the airport agencies insisted on that soured us on them. The price my friend thought he had got doubled at the counter.

yer a fool if you listen to the insurance spiel. If you have auto insurance, you are covered. It's a scam.

Just say no and initial all the blanks.

Then if you wreck the car on the way out of the parking lot you just run back to the home country like a Mexican and no one's the wiser.

Well, I s'pose so. Probably be best to have given them fake credit card info, or was your deposit in cash? Yes, the insurance against their lost income if the car goes into a repair shop is a scam but as of early March 2009 at McCarran International, none of the rental agencies would let it be waived.
