It's the machine at work.
They always need us to be scared of something, usually so we will willingly give up some more of our rights.
My right is to see a wild wolf. Hopefully chewing on Roxy's leg.
After all, his right is to be vindicated by that hungry wolf. Of course, the odds are it will just be someone's out of control dog.

I wonder if they can come up with "lurking" music better than the bass line in the Jaws theme.

OK, just saw it.
Ridiculous.
The scene a half hour in where the eyes of the pack glow in the fire light made me think of the scene in West Side Story where the rival gang show themselves and are dancing around snapping their fingers and trying to look cool.

I feed wolves doggie treats from my hand while wearing a wreath of daisies on my head.
I have offered for them to fly me up there, chain me to a tree with 20 feet of slack and two aluminum baseball bats. Then put out a lot of bait.
I LOVE wolves. There are plenty of cattle in the U.S. Sheep, too.
I saw the preview to that movie and it is lame, lame, lame.
Did I ever mention a wolf running up and standing there looking at me for five full minutes at a distance of, say, ten feet?
Oh? I have posted it fifty times? OK. I'll spare ya.
