ALMOST BRAND NEW Canon G10.
I had it for two weeks, it got wet and went bonkers but Canon fixed it. I needed another camera right away so I went out and bought another G10. Now I have two but only need one.
Here is everything you would ever want to know about it.

I have all the cords, CDs and manuals that came with the camera. A SD card DID NOT come with the camera but I'll throw in a 2 gig one.

The ideal point and shoot for climbing.
Wide angle. 14.7 megapix. Small. Light. Holds a real flash.
But it got WET!??! Hmmm...
How much?
and probably no guarantee ?

How much? I have been really interested in the G series and got to hold a G9 tonight and it felt awesome!

I have a G10 and think it is great. I will warn though that there is little clearance for the iris and lens. If any dust, dirt, or anything gets behind the iris than openings and closing (turning on and off) creates wicked scratches. So Desert climbers beware!

I was hiking in the Cascades and of course it was raining. After one day the camera started shooting psychedelic photos. I figured something had gotten wet inside the camera and it had shorted out. I took it to a authorized repair center in Portland. They said they could find no evidence of water damage and thought that something might have simply gone kaput and suggested sending it back to Canon. I did that and Canon was able to repair it for only $159.
The camera is still on it's original warranty and the repair carries a 90 day warranty for what was repaired. It works perfectly now and looks brand new.
I'd sell either camera although the one I took to Yosemite is a bit more beat up. The first one is in perfect shape.
I'm asking $400 for it.
